These Terms govern your use of Fond, operated by Marar Inc. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Your account
You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent where you live). You are responsible for activity under your account.
Your content
You retain all rights to the notes, recordings, and images you create. You grant us the limited license needed to host, process, transcribe, and analyze your content solely to provide the app's features to you (including transcription and AI processing through the providers named in our Privacy Policy). We claim no ownership of your content.
Acceptable use
- You are solely responsible for what you record. Recording other people may be subject to laws requiring their consent — you must comply with all applicable recording, privacy, and wiretapping laws in your jurisdiction.
- Do not use the app for unlawful purposes, to infringe others' rights, or to upload content you have no right to record or store.
- Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or abuse the service or its AI features.
AI-generated content
Transcriptions, extracted entities, summaries, reflections, and answers are generated automatically and may be inaccurate or incomplete. They are provided for your personal use and are not professional advice. Verify anything important before relying on it.
Service availability and changes
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We aim for reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Termination
You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to comply with law.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Marar Inc is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the app.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict of laws principles.
Changes to these Terms
We will update this page and the "Last updated" date when these Terms change. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
